Lime Connect is proud to partner with Eye to Eye, the only LD/ADHD movement dedicated to mentoring in the U.S. Eye to Eye brings university students and K-12 youth together both inside and outside the LD/ADHD community with their Think Different Diplomats, camps for students with LD/ADHD, and a variety of events.
Lime Connect and Eye to Eye share the vision that all individuals with disabilities should be celebrated, and through their programs Eye to Eye joins us in helping society to see the uniqueness of those who happen to have disabilities. We look forward to collaborating and supporting each other as our organizations grow and act as instruments for change.
Eye to Eye is the only national mentoring movement that pairs kids who have learning disabilities and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (LD / ADHD) with college and high school mentors who have been similarly labeled. Using their arts-based curriculum, mentors help their mentees understand their unique way of learning and thinking, building self-esteem and skills they need to become self-advocates.
We are also pleased to partner with MBA Veterans - the first and only organization dedicated to connecting military veterans educated by the world's top MBA programs with employers across a wide range of industries via their annual MBA Veterans Career Conferences and MBA Veterans Career Network. While military service transforms junior officers and NCO's into highly-skilled leaders and managers, an MBA from a premier university is the most tangible and relevant proof of their ability to adapt to and succeed in a business environment. Lime Connect is excited about attracting, preparing and connecting MBA Veterans who happen to have disabilities with our own corporate partners via The Lime Network.
We are grateful to The Kessler Foundation (2007 and 2009) and Bank of America Charitable Foundation (2012) for their support of Lime Connect's work.
