In recognition of Disability Awareness Month 2013, the Goldman Sachs Salt Lake City Disability Interest Forum ("DIF") was honored to host a panel discussion with Kevin Pearce, a former champion snowboarder, and his brother Adam Pearce. Kevin suffered a traumatic brain injury while training for the 2010 winter Olympics and his story was documented in the award-winning Sundance film, The Crash Reel. The event was a part of the Disability Interest Forum's overall mission to raise awareness and understanding of the needs, priorities and potential of people with disabilities. Our vision is to ensure that Goldman Sachs is considered as an employer of choice for individuals with a disability and that the firm is accessible to all. This includes providing support for employees with a disability, those who develop a disability during employment and those who manage or are caregivers of people with disabilities.
