Network members help Lime Connect secure $250,000 in funding from Goldman Sachs

David Solomon, CEO of Goldman Sachs; and Asahi Pompey, president of the Goldman Sachs Foundation, present Team Lime Connect the 1st Place trophy for the 2021 Analyst Impact Fund Awards

On the morning of Thursday, December 9th, a few of our very own Lime Network members, as well as a new Friend of Lime presented a thorough pitch presentation on behalf of Lime Connect during the final round of the 2021 Goldman Sachs Analyst Impact Fund competition.  

Annually, Goldman Sachs has been committed to investing in non-profits by tasking their analysts to pitch the non-profit of their choice to receive funding. Lime Connect was excited when the analyst team of Network members and an ally colleague decided to dedicate over six months of research, presenting, and work towards an entry for Lime.  "Team Lime Connect," as they were dubbed, not only made it to the top 4 finals but took home the 1st Place prize of $250,000 to go towards the development of Lime Connect's online hub! 

Our Lime Connect team and boards are incredibly honored, and proud of Julian, Max, Sara, and Will for truly rebranding disability through achievement!
