Voices of Lime: The Intersecting Identities of LGBTQIA2S+ + Disability 

Lime Connect Next Gen board member and Chief Strategy Officer of the Black Veterans Project, Daniele Anderson, moderates a panel discussion with Lime Connect’s LGBTQIA2S+ Network members who live with disabilities.  As a queer veteran with a disability, Daniele is uniquely positioned to lead the conversation around how disability intersects with a person’s experience of gender and sexuality, and how that intersection impacts the workplace - including disclosure, career decisions, and professional relationships.  We also cover how employers can best support their LGBTQIA2S+ employees with disabilities, and practical takeaways for creating and maintaining an inclusive workplace.

As someone who lives with Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) herself, Suzanne touches on her own story and how she is uniquely positioned to lead the conversation around the challenges our panelists experience – and the strategies and accommodations that have helped them succeed.

Making Work “Work” for Employees with Chronic Health Conditions
